This sequence of courses gives you skills to develop great web pages using various languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and Linux. You will build in-demand skills sought after by Apple, Samsung, NASA, and Tesla.

HTML   Is the foundation of all web pages. Without HTML, you wouldn’t to be able to organize text or add images or videos. HTML is beginning of everything you need to know to create engaging web pages! You will learn all the common HTML tags used to structure HTML pages, the skeleton of all websites, and be able to create HTML tables to present tabular data efficiently.

CSS   Without CSS, every web page would be drab plain text and images that flowed straight down the page. With CSS, you can add color, background images and change your page to work of art! You will learn many aspects of styling web pages, be able to setup the correct file structure, edit text, colors, create attractive layouts, and customize the appearance of your web pages.

JavaScript  is among the most powerful and flexible programming languages of the web. It powers the dynamic behavior on most websites. It can be used for many things, including software development, mobile applications, and large systems development. Knowing Java opens a great deal of doors for you as a developer. You will learn programming fundamentals, including object-oriented programming OOP and build Java project as basic calculator, to help you practice along the way.

Python is a general –purpose, versatile and popular programming language. It’s great as a first language to learn because it is concise and easy to read. This course is a great intro to both fundamental programing concepts and Python language. By the end, you will be comfortable programming in Python and taking your skills off the CAST platform and onto your own computer.
